EXECUTIVE PRODUCTION (TEAM LEAD) @ THE AKSHAYA PATRA FOUNDATION
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is seeking a dedicated Executive Production (Team Lead) to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. This role is pivotal to our mission of eliminating classroom hunger and supporting education across India. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end meal production operations, ensuring that over 2.25 million meals are served daily with high efficiency and impact. You will lead and mentor large kitchen teams, fostering a culture of excellence and commitment to our social cause. Key responsibilities include ensuring strict compliance with GMP, GHP, and FSSAI standards to maintain the highest levels of food safety. You will also drive process optimization and quality excellence across all stages of production. Experience in managing heavy-duty steam-based cooking and automated units is essential for this position. Key Requirements
B.Sc/M.Sc (Food Science), Hotel Management, or B.Tech (Food Technology)
3–6 years of experience in large-scale food production (Catering, FMCG, or Centralized Kitchens)
Proficiency in managing heavy-duty steam-based cooking equipment and automated units
In-depth knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practices)
Familiarity with FSSAI standards and regulatory compliance in the food industry
Strong leadership skills to mentor and manage large kitchen teams effectively
Expertise in driving process optimization and maintaining quality excellence
Ability to oversee end-to-end meal production operations in a high-volume environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination
Commitment to food safety and organizational hygiene protocols
