The Akshaya Patra Foundation is dedicated to eliminating classroom hunger and supporting education throughout India by serving millions of meals daily. We are seeking a dedicated Executive – Production (Team Lead) to join our operations in Pune, Maharashtra. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end meal production process, ensuring that every meal meets the highest standards of nutrition and safety for the children we serve. As a Team Lead, you will mentor a large kitchen team, driving process optimization and maintaining strict compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and GHP standards. Your expertise in managing heavy-duty steam-based cooking equipment and automated units will be crucial for maintaining our scale and efficiency. Key Requirements
Oversee end-to-end meal production operations
Lead and mentor large kitchen teams
Ensure strict compliance with GMP, GHP & FSSAI standards
Drive process optimization and quality excellence
Manage heavy-duty steam-based cooking and automated units
3–6 years in large-scale food production (Catering, FMCG, or Centralized Kitchens)
B.Sc/M.Sc (Food Science), Hotel Management, or B.Tech (Food Technology)
Strong leadership and team management skills in a high-pressure environment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a commercial kitchen
Ability to manage inventory and raw material procurement effectively
