SENIOR DATA ENGINEER @ TECHWARESOFT
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The primary focus of this role is to modernize existing ETL pipelines, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and efficient. You will be instrumental in leveraging modern data tools to enhance our data infrastructure and support data-driven decision-making processes across the organization. This position requires someone who can jump in immediately and start contributing to high-priority projects.
The successful candidate will work extensively with Python, dbt, Kafka, and Airflow to design and implement complex data workflows. You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity and optimizing pipeline performance while collaborating with various stakeholders. This is a remote position based in Pakistan with a working schedule from 10 AM to 7 PM (PKT). The initial contract is for two months, with a high possibility of extension based on performance and ongoing project needs.

Key Requirements
Proficiency in Python programming for data engineering tasks.
Extensive experience using dbt (data build tool) for transformations.
Demonstrated experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
Expertise in orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
Proven experience in designing and modernizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Ability to work during the specified shift of 10 AM – 7 PM (PKT).
Immediate availability to start the contract role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a data environment.
Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
Familiarity with data version control and CI/CD practices.
