Tanzania Empowerment Forum Limited (TEF Consult) is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the role of Regional After-sales Technician. This position is crucial for maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction by ensuring efficient and timely technical support and repair services across the assigned regions within Tanzania. The successful candidate will be a skilled technical expert proficient in product repairs, detailed troubleshooting, and effective spare parts management, driving excellence in all after-sales service operations.

Key responsibilities for this role include the direct repair of customer products at the Zonal Service Center and managing complex escalations by supporting various Authorized Service Centers. The technician will be responsible for meticulous monitoring of spare parts inventory and warranty stock utilization. Furthermore, the role involves rigorous performance monitoring to ensure all service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and turnaround times are consistently met, requiring the preparation of detailed daily, weekly, and monthly repair and fault trend reports. Candidates must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, coupled with 3 5 years of relevant experience in technical repair or after-sales operations, and demonstrate strong foundational knowledge of maintenance processes. Experience with solar installation is considered a significant advantage.

Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and profound knowledge of maintenance processes. Troubleshoot and repair customer products at the Zonal Service Center. Manage escalations and support Authorized Service Centers within the zone. Monitor spare parts and warranty stock utilization effectively. Ensure service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and turnaround times are consistently achieved. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly repair and fault trend reports. Coordinate technical training and continuous improvement initiatives. Previous experience in solar installation is highly advantageous.
