ANALYST – MERCHANT @ TANZANIA EMPOWERMENT FORUM LIMITED (TEF CONSULT)
This role at Tanzania Empowerment Forum Limited (TEF Consult) seeks a qualified Analyst – Merchant professional. The successful candidate will be crucial in leveraging strong analytical skills to monitor merchant performance, generate insightful reports and dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making processes aimed at improving merchant acquisition and retention. This position demands a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex data trends into actionable business strategies for management and key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include rigorously monitoring merchant and channel performance, tracking transactions, and analyzing revenue trends across the business. The Analyst will be responsible for the timely preparation of critical performance documentation, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports and comprehensive dashboards. Furthermore, the role involves actively supporting incentive programs and contests, alongside conducting robust post-campaign impact analyses to gauge effectiveness. The Analyst must also collaborate effectively with various internal teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy in all reporting efforts.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, IT, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of BI tools or SQL is an added advantage
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to monitor merchant and channel performance, transactions, and revenue trends
Proven ability to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and dashboards
Experience in supporting incentive programs, contests, and post-campaign impact analysis
Skill in collaborating with internal teams to resolve data inconsistencies and improve reporting accuracy
