Tanu Infotech is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join our onsite team in Coventry, RI. This role is designed for an innovative professional passionate about additive manufacturing, materials engineering, and the optimization of production technologies. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-tech 3D printers and scanning equipment while using CAD tools like SolidWorks to design complex 3D models. The position requires a deep dive into metallic and non-metallic materials, where you will develop, evaluate, and document new manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality standards.

Beyond technical operations, the Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate extensively with design teams to ensure material compliance and support the implementation of capital equipment. You will be tasked with creating detailed testing plans, performing dimensional verification, and maintaining records of process improvements. Furthermore, the role involves providing technical guidance and on-site training to other team members, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of digital fabrication and additive manufacturing technologies. Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in engineering or manufacturing roles. At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in advanced manufacturing with an Additive Manufacturing focus. Proven proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial 3D printing and scanning equipment. Strong CAD design experience, with a preferred background in using SolidWorks for 3D modeling. In-depth knowledge of materials science, including composites, alloys, and structural bonding. Strong understanding of manufacturing process optimization and digital fabrication techniques. Experience with dimensional verification, quality control, and AS9100 standards. Ability to develop and execute testing plans and generate detailed technical reports. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical guidance and training. Eligibility as a US Citizen or Green Card holder is required for this role.
