This exciting opportunity is for a seasoned Cyber Assurance professional based in Pune, India. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening the organization's risk, control, and IT assurance processes. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of internal controls, IT infrastructure, cyber operations, and overall data security measures. This role requires significant hands-on experience in executing rigorous audits and testing procedures, specifically focused on platforms like Active Directory, Windows systems, application login tools, and leveraging data analytics, particularly SQL, to identify vulnerabilities and control gaps.Collaboration is central to this position, requiring the Cyber Assurance professional to partner closely with various internal stakeholders. The primary goal of these collaborations is to drive continuous improvement in control effectiveness and significantly enhance organizational cyber resilience. Candidates must demonstrate deep exposure to managing technology risk, optimizing core IT processes, and spearheading various assurance initiatives. The position operates on a hybrid model, requiring local candidates to work from the office in Pune two days per week.
Key Requirements
4+ years experience in cyber risk, IT audit, or controls, from any industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or B.Tech.
Familiarity with data analytics tools, specifically SQL.
Must be a local candidate residing in Pune, India.
Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to assess and audit internal controls and IT processes.
Experience conducting testing across Active Directory and Windows environments.
Expertise in enhancing control effectiveness and cyber resilience measures.
Deep understanding of technology risk frameworks and assurance initiatives.
Ability to work in a hybrid model (2 days in office).
