HEAD OF FINANCE / FINANCE MANAGER – (MANUFACTURING) @ TALENT ARCHER
We are seeking a commercially driven Head of Finance for our client, a leading manufacturing company in East Africa. The successful candidate will lead financial strategy, FP&A, compliance, and ERP-driven finance processes while supporting operational finance including costing, production flow, and inventory control. This role is ideal for strategic, tech-savvy finance leaders with strong IFRS knowledge and hands-on experience in manufacturing finance and operations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire financial health of the organization and ensuring that all reporting adheres to international standards.
The role requires a professional with at least 10 years of experience in finance leadership. Applicants must possess a professional certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or an MBA in Finance. Experience within the manufacturing, FMCG, or packaging industries is mandatory for this position. Candidates will be expected to utilize ERP systems like SAP or SYSPRO to manage financial data and operations effectively. Key Requirements
Professional qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, or MBA in Finance (Mandatory).
Strong experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, or Packaging industries (Mandatory).
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with finance leadership exposure.
Strategic and tech-savvy leadership style with a focus on commercial growth.
Strong working knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or SYSPRO.
Proven ability to manage manufacturing finance and operational processes.
Expertise in FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) and financial strategy.
Ability to oversee inventory control, costing, and production flow.
