APPLICATION SECURITY DEVELOPER LEAD @ SYMPHONY ENTERPRISES
Symphony Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Application Security Developer Lead for an onsite position in Sacramento, CA. This is a long-term contract role with a duration of 12+ months, specifically targeting local candidates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading security initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that applications are built with robust security measures from the ground up. The role requires deep expertise in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and a strong foundation in security and privacy by design principles. Candidates will perform threat modeling, implement security by design strategies, and oversee the development of secure code. This position is open to USC, GC, H1B, and EAD holders, but please note that OPT candidates will not be considered. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Sacramento to collaborate effectively with the local team and stakeholders.
Key Requirements
Extensive experience in Application Security development
Intermediate proficiency with NIST CyberSecurity Framework
Foundational knowledge of Security and Privacy By Design
Hands-on experience with Threat modeling techniques
Demonstrated expertise in Security by Design principles
Strong leadership capabilities to guide technical teams
Valid USC, GC, H1B, or EAD work authorization
Willingness to work onsite in Sacramento, CA
Ability to perform secure code reviews and assessments
Experience in vulnerability management and mitigation
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
