Symmetra is currently hiring an Electrical Technical Office Engineer to oversee the electrical engineering functions within our technical office. The role requires a candidate who can efficiently manage the preparation of electrical shop drawings, perform load calculations, and coordinate electrical system designs for residential and commercial building projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all technical submittals and electrical documentation comply with industry standards and client requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with other engineering disciplines and site personnel to facilitate seamless project integration and execution. We are looking for a professional with a solid foundation in power distribution, lighting systems, and low-current installations. This position offers a platform to apply your technical skills in a dynamic setting while contributing to the success of high-impact construction projects.
Key Requirements
At least 2-6 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
Experience with Residential and Commercial Projects is mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, and electrical design software.
Capability to prepare detailed electrical shop drawings.
Experience in load calculations and cable sizing.
Knowledge of low current systems and power distribution.
Familiarity with technical office procedures and documentation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in quantity take-offs.
Effective communication skills for inter-disciplinary coordination.
