Symmetra is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Technical Office Engineer to join our team in Zamalek. The successful candidate will be responsible for meticulously studying project documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). You will play a pivotal role in coordinating the approval process with project consultants to ensure all engineering standards are met and project timelines are adhered to efficiently.
In this role, you will also be tasked with conducting comprehensive quantity surveys to determine the exact material needs for procurement. Coordination with other engineering disciplines is essential to resolve any technical conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of high-quality as-built and shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Key Requirements
3-6 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
Proven experience working on Residential and Commercial Projects
Ability to study project documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQ
Experience in coordinating approval processes with project consultants
Proficiency in conducting estimated quantity surveys for material procurement
Strong coordination skills with other engineering trades to solve technical conflicts
Expertise in preparing and maintaining accurate as-built drawings and shop drawings
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar MEP design software tools
Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards specific to the region
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
