We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Business Analyst, specializing in Financial ERP systems, to join a long-term government project. This is a 30-month contract position based in Albany, NY 12226, offering a flexible hybrid work model (relocation is supported). The primary focus of this role is functional analysis, business process definition, and comprehensive requirements management specifically within PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials ERP. Candidates must possess eligible visa status, such as H4 EAD, GC-EAD (with PP copy), or USC, and must be able to work within CST or EST time zones. The PeopleSoft Business Analyst will be instrumental in analyzing and supporting enterprise financial modules. Key responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, defining crucial business processes, and ensuring smooth system implementation and maintenance. A major component of the role involves writing and executing rigorous test scripts, along with providing comprehensive support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The successful candidate will collaborate closely with both internal business users and external technical development teams to ensure PeopleSoft system alignment perfectly matches critical business needs.
Key Requirements
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in Business Analysis, covering Functional Design, Requirements Gathering, and Testing.
At least 5 years of hands-on working experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials ERP.
A minimum of 2 years supporting critical modules including Project Costing, Customer Contracts, Funds Distribution, and Federal Grant Awards.
At least 1 year of experience supporting three or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Travel & Expense, General Ledger, Commitment Control, or eBill Payment.
Proven expertise in performing functional analysis and defining robust business processes.
Demonstrated ability to write and execute detailed test scripts and support comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Strong collaboration skills to work closely with both business users and technical teams.
Deep understanding of enterprise financial modules and ensuring system alignment with business objectives.
Must hold an eligible visa status for employment (H4 EAD, GC-EAD with PP copy, or USC).
Ability to work effectively within the CST and EST time zones.
