PAYROLL TAX ASSOCIATE (JUNIOR) @ SOLVO GLOBAL
Solvo Global is seeking a Payroll Tax Associate (Junior) to join our team in Colombia. This role is ideal for junior professionals looking to develop their skills in payroll and tax compliance within a dynamic, international environment. The successful candidate will support federal and state tax filing processes, perform reconciliations, and handle tax research to ensure full compliance for our clients in the PEO industry. The position involves a high degree of collaboration with internal departments to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns. You will be responsible for resolving tax notices and discrepancies while maintaining detailed documentation for all cases. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to gain global experience while working on a standard Monday to Friday schedule.
Key Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in Payroll or Tax operations.
Strong analytical and organizational skills for complex data handling.
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to meeting strict deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
Client-focused and proactive mindset in solving tax-related issues.
Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Prior experience in the PEO (Professional Employer Organization) industry.
Ability to perform payroll tax filings and reconciliations accurately.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax research techniques.
Capability to resolve tax notices and discrepancies with internal coordination.
