Solvo Global is seeking a Payroll Tax Associate (Junior) to join our team in Colombia. This on-site role is perfect for professionals taking their first steps in Payroll and Tax Compliance who wish to grow within an international and dynamic environment. You will support federal and state tax compliance processes within the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry, working closely with a global team to ensure accuracy and compliance across various jurisdictions.
Your responsibilities will include performing payroll tax filings, conducting federal and state tax research, and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns. You will also resolve tax notices, provide audit support, and maintain detailed documentation for client cases. Key Requirements
Over 1 year of professional experience in Payroll or Tax compliance.
Demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills.
High level of attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Client-focused approach with a proactive and learning mindset.
FPC Certification is highly preferred for this role.
Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Prior experience within the PEO (Professional Employer Organization) industry.
Ability to perform federal, state, and local tax research efficiently.
Experience in managing and resolving tax notices and discrepancies.
