The Production Sr. Designer serves as both the designer and production owner, responsible for leading artwork from concept through final production release. This role owns the execution, coordination, accuracy, and delivery of all artwork, ensuring creative intent is preserved while meeting brand, legal, and manufacturing requirements. The designer is accountable for managing revisions, maintaining artwork status, and releasing final, supplier-ready files through Centric Software. This is a 3-month contract position for a top fashion client based in New York City. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite in New York City and 2 days working from home. Candidates must have specific experience within the fashion packaging sector to be considered for this opportunity. The hourly rate for this position is $37.24. Key Requirements
Experience within fashion packaging and production design is mandatory
Proficiency in Centric Software for releasing final supplier-ready files
Ability to lead artwork from concept through to final production release
Strong skills in managing revisions and maintaining artwork status
Expert knowledge of printing processes and manufacturing requirements
Ability to ensure creative intent is preserved while meeting legal standards
High attention to detail for artwork accuracy and coordination
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong understanding of typography color theory and layout for packaging
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
