ORACLE DEVELOPER @ SMARTIPLACE
The Oracle Developer will be responsible for designing and developing robust database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX. You will work on creating stored procedures, functions, packages, and advanced queries to support mission-critical applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle RDBMS, specifically version 19c, and the ability to perform performance tuning, debugging, and testing across both Oracle and SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in modernizing legacy Oracle Forms applications and integrating various web services into the existing architecture.
In addition to technical expertise, the role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. You will participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and contribute to the data modeling process. The position is remote-based, and candidates should have recent state experience as a webcam interview will be conducted. This is an urgent requirement for a C2C position, and candidates must possess a valid visa (USC, H1B, H4EAD, or OPT) and be prepared to provide their passport number for verification. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of study.
5–7 years of professional experience developing in Oracle PL/SQL including stored procedures, functions, and packages.
5–7 years of hands-on experience developing applications using the Oracle APEX framework.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, with a preference for version 19c.
Extensive experience using development tools such as SQL Developer or TOAD.
Deep understanding of data modeling principles and database design.
Proven experience integrating web services into Oracle-based applications.
Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and testing SQL queries and stored procedures in both Oracle and SQL Server environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Experience modernizing legacy Oracle Forms applications to modern web-based solutions.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and SOA architecture.
