QA ENGINEER (MANUAL + AUTOMATION) @ SMARTINFO CARE SOLUTIONS - SICS
SmartInfo Care Solutions - SICS is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1 to 2 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team in Mohali Phase 8b. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions and will have significant exposure to modern testing practices, particularly integrating AI-based tools into the testing workflow. This role requires an individual who can balance the meticulous nature of manual testing with the efficiency of automated processes to ensure comprehensive software coverage. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying software defects, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolutions. You will work on projects that require a deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). By leveraging your skills in tools like Selenium or Cypress, you will help maintain our standard of excellence and contribute to the overall reliability of our products. This is an onsite position based in Mohali, offering a collaborative environment for career growth in the software quality assurance field.
Key Requirements
1–2 years of experience in Software Testing.
Hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
Experience with at least one AI testing tool.
Must have worked on at least one project involving both manual and automation testing.
Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of defect tracking tools and bug reporting.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress is highly preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify complex software issues.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers and product teams.
