Our client, a busy family based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and professional Live-in Nanny to provide attentive, high-quality care for their child, spanning the newborn through toddler years. This is a rewarding, international opportunity focused on ensuring the healthy physical, emotional, and cognitive development of the child. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced with infants under 6 months and committed to providing a structured, safe, and loving environment while collaborating closely with the parents.
Key responsibilities include managing feeding routines, establishing consistent sleep schedules, supporting milestone achievement, and implementing developmentally appropriate activities. The role requires a candidate who is trustworthy, patient, and knowledgeable in areas such as safe sleep practices, sleep training methods, and baby-led weaning. Key Requirements
5+ years of professional experience caring for newborns and toddlers
Demonstrated experience with infants under 6 months
Hold a valid Kenyan passport (mandatory)
Possess training in First Aid, Early Childhood Education, or Newborn Care (advantageous)
Understand safe sleep practices and early childhood developmental stages
Must be patient, nurturing, trustworthy, and a non-smoker
Experience with sleep training methods
Experience with baby-led weaning
Ability to provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care from newborn through toddler years
Ability to collaborate closely with parents to ensure consistent care
