Our client is currently hiring for the position of Contract Consultant specializing in the Oil and Gas industry to handle high-value disputes and arbitration. The role focuses on technical advisory, claims management, and managing the complexities of delay, quantum, and extension of time for large-scale energy infrastructure. By utilizing ADR methods such as mediation and expert determination, you will help clients navigate complex disputes efficiently.
This position is focused on operations within Egypt and the wider African continent. While Nairobi serves as the base office, the consultant will be required to travel extensively to manage project sites and arbitration hearings. This is a senior role requiring a deep understanding of regional contracts and the ability to operate in dynamic international environments.

Key Requirements
Engineering Graduate degree from a recognized institution.
Formal qualification in Contracts Management.
Specialized qualification in Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR).
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Oil and Gas contracts management.
Proven expertise in delay analysis and quantum assessment.
Extensive experience handling Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Mandatory professional experience within the African region.
Strong understanding of mediation and expert determination processes.
Ability to serve as an expert witness in technical advisory roles.
Full commitment to extensive international travel as required by the projects.
