CONTRACT CONSULTANT (OIL & GAS) @ SKC MANAGEMENT
Seeking a senior-level Contract Consultant to lead expert witness services and technical advisory for significant Oil and Gas projects. The firm specializes in handling billion-dollar infrastructure disputes and complex contract management tasks including delay, quantum, and extensions of time. This role leverages expert-led Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods like mediation and DAAB to resolve disputes effectively outside of traditional courtroom settings.
Candidates will be expected to operate within Ethiopia and the broader African region. Although the base office for this recruitment drive is in Nairobi, the responsibilities include on-site consultancy and project management across multiple territories. You will contribute to high-stakes arbitration and provide strategic advice on contract management for major energy infrastructure developments.

Key Requirements
Engineering Graduate degree from a recognized institution.
Formal qualification in Contracts Management.
Specialized qualification in Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR).
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Oil and Gas contracts management.
Proven expertise in delay analysis and quantum assessment.
Extensive experience handling Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Mandatory professional experience within the African region.
Strong understanding of mediation and expert determination processes.
Ability to serve as an expert witness in technical advisory roles.
Full commitment to extensive international travel as required by the projects.
