EMULATION ENGINEERS (ZEBU, PALLADIUM, VELOCE) @ SKALEN SEMI
Skalen Semi is actively recruiting seasoned Emulation Engineers to join their dynamic team, focusing on cutting-edge hardware verification and design services. This role is crucial for supporting both large IT and design services clients, as well as fast-growing mid-sized and startup design services firms. Successful candidates will possess extensive experience (6 to 20 years) utilizing industry-leading emulation platforms, specifically Synopsys ZeBu, Cadence Palladium, and Siemens Veloce. This position requires deep technical expertise in verifying complex ASIC/SoC designs, ensuring functional correctness and performance before tapeout. The role offers the opportunity to work on projects involving advanced technologies like AI, ML, IoT, and high-speed protocols.
The work locations for this role are flexible across three major technology hubs in India: Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Noida. Key responsibilities include environment setup, test execution, debug, and performance tuning on massive emulation systems. Candidates must be proficient in methodologies such as UVM and SystemVerilog, and have a proven track record of handling intricate interface protocols (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, AXI). Key Requirements
Minimum 6 to 20 years of experience in Emulation Engineering.
Expertise with major Emulation platforms including Synopsys ZeBu, Cadence Palladium, and Siemens Veloce.
Proficiency in hardware description languages (e.g., SystemVerilog) and advanced verification methodologies (e.g., UVM).
Strong understanding of ASIC/SoC design and complex verification flows.
Experience with high-speed interface protocols such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, or AXI.
Ability to debug complex hardware and software interactions on emulation platforms.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or C/C++ is highly desirable.
Experience working with Microcontrollers, CPUs, or GPUs in a design or verification context.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional design, software, and systems teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
