EMULATION ENGINEER (ZEBU, PALLADIUM, VELOCE) @ SKALEN SEMI
Skalen Semi is seeking experienced Emulation Engineers to join our team in Bangalore, India. This role involves working with large IT and design services hyperscalers to drive hardware emulation efforts. Candidates will be responsible for Pre-Silicon Validation, SoC Emulation, and utilizing major platforms such as Zebu, Palladium, and Veloce to ensure the integrity and functionality of complex chip designs. The ideal candidate will have between 6 and 12 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically focusing on VLSI and hardware acceleration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform RTL verification, waveform debug, and testbench acceleration. This is a senior-level position requiring technical leadership and a deep understanding of the semiconductor lifecycle, from design to verification. The work location is based in Bangalore, serving prestigious global clients.
Key Requirements
6 to 12 years of professional experience in hardware emulation.
In-depth expertise with emulation platforms such as Zebu, Palladium, or Veloce.
Strong background in Pre-Silicon Validation and SoC Emulation techniques.
Proficiency in RTL Verification and Functional Verification processes.
Experience with FPGA Prototyping and complex system verification.
Hands-on knowledge of hardware acceleration and emulation debug tools.
Familiarity with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) and SystemVerilog.
Previous experience working with SoC, ASIC, and Chip Design lifecycles.
Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
Excellent analytical skills for waveform debug and testbench acceleration.
