ANALOG IC DESIGN ENGINEER @ SKALEN SEMI

India Posted 2/17/2026 skalensemi.com 1695 Views
Skalen Semi is actively seeking an experienced Analog IC Design Engineer to join our growing team. This role supports both large IT and design services clients, as well as fast-growing mid-sized and start-up design services firms. Successful candidates will be instrumental in the design, simulation, and verification of complex analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. The ideal candidate possesses between 5 and 15 years of relevant industry experience and a deep technical background in critical circuit blocks. Possible work locations include Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Noida, offering flexibility within India.
The responsibilities encompass the entire design lifecycle, from conceptualization and transistor-level implementation through tapeout preparation. Key focus areas include high-speed SerDes, Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs), Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs), and sophisticated power management circuits. Expertise in low-power design, robust circuit verification using industry-standard EDA tools, and working with deep submicron process technologies (e.g., 7nm, 5nm, 3nm) is essential for this position. The role requires a candidate who can ensure signal and power integrity, minimize jitter and noise, and contribute to system-level validation.

Key Requirements

5 – 15 Years of experience in high-performance Analog IC Design Engineering. Expertise in Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) Design, including architecture and implementation. Proficiency in designing specific circuits such as SerDes, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, and low-power circuits. Strong knowledge of transistor-level design, schematic capture, and detailed circuit simulation techniques. Required familiarity with EDA tools including Synopsys Custom Compiler, Mentor Eldo, Synopsys HSPICE, Cadence Spectre, Cadence SpectreRF, and Keysight ADS. Deep understanding of signal integrity, power integrity analysis, jitter, noise, and power analysis techniques. Experience working with advanced technology nodes (7nm, 5nm, 3nm). Proficiency in VLSI design flows and experience with post-layout verification using tools like Mentor Calibre. Knowledge of system-level validation using spectrum analyzers, JTAG debuggers, and protocol analyzers. Background in Semiconductors, ASIC, and SoC design.
