BILLING SUPERVISOR @ SILENT OCEAN
KICD is seeking a competent Billing Supervisor to manage the financial documentation and revenue collection processes at our newly established inland terminal near the Dar es Salaam Port. The Billing Supervisor ensures that all services provided to clients—including storage, handling, and clearing—are accurately invoiced and processed in a timely manner to maintain the depot's financial health.
This position involves close collaboration with the operations team to verify service logs and with the finance department to reconcile accounts. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional capable of managing a billing team while ensuring compliance with Tanzanian customs and tax regulations. You will contribute to the efficiency of one of the region's most modern inland container depots.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field.
At least 3 years of experience in billing or financial supervision, preferably in logistics.
Strong understanding of port tariffs and inland container depot billing structures.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized accounting software.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of billing clerks.
Knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and customs procedures.
Strong analytical skills for reconciling complex accounts.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective communication skills for dealing with clients and internal stakeholders.
