The Renewable Energy Support Specialist role involves a 12-month contract with a leading utility client, specifically focusing on the management and support of renewable energy programs. Based in Brandon, Florida, this hybrid position is ideal for individuals with a background in customer support, operations, or data entry who are looking to establish a career in the solar and renewable energy sector. The daily routine consists of a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, moving to a hybrid format after the initial training period.
Responsibilities include the detailed review and processing of solar and renewable energy applications, managing net metering documentation, and addressing inquiries from both customers and installers via email. The specialist will utilize platforms like Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and the EECP system to ensure data accuracy and coordinate with internal teams for necessary approvals and meter installations. This role offers hands-on experience in a rapidly evolving industry, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to succeed in a high-volume professional environment.

Key Requirements
Previous experience in customer support or operations roles.
Proven experience in data entry or high-volume application processing.
