FINANCE ASSOCIATE @ SHERATON NEW DELHI HOTEL
The Finance Associate will be responsible for supporting the hotel's financial operations, including managing daily transactions, assisting with ledger reconciliation, and preparing basic financial reports. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records in compliance with company and statutory regulations. The Associate will work closely with the Finance team to ensure smooth cash flow and expenditure tracking. Furthermore, the Finance Associate will handle tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, process invoices, and assist in budget preparation and monitoring. Candidates must be proficient in standard accounting software and demonstrate a strong understanding of fundamental financial principles within the hospitality industry.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in a financial or accounting role, preferably within a hotel environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar hospitality systems).
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information discreetly.
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Strong communication skills for internal and external correspondence.
