LIGHT CURRENT DESIGN ENGINEER @ SHAKER CONSULTANCY GROUP
Shaker Consultancy Group is looking for a Light Current Design Engineer to join our Head Office team. The role focuses on the design and integration of low-voltage systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and telecommunications. You will be responsible for ensuring that these systems are efficiently designed and integrated into the broader building management systems. Possible work locations include New Cairo and Maadi.
The position provides a professional environment with medical and social insurance and two days off per week. As a Light Current specialist, you will play a key role in the safety and connectivity of our projects. Using Revit is a core part of the workflow, allowing for precise design and coordination within a multi-disciplinary consultancy framework.

Key Requirements
Minimum 6 years of experience in light current/ELV system design.
Proficiency in Revit is a mandatory requirement.
Prior experience in a consultancy firm is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Expertise in designing Fire Alarm and Life Safety systems.
Knowledge of security systems including CCTV and Access Control.
Experience with data networks and structured cabling design.
Understanding of Public Address and Sound systems.
Ability to integrate light current systems with Building Management Systems (BMS).
Familiarity with relevant NFPA and local safety codes.
