TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER (ELECTRONICS/SEMICONDUCTOR) @ SEARCH PERSONNEL
This position is for a Technical Service Engineer specializing in Electronics and the Semiconductor industry, based in Gambas Cres near Sembawang MRT. The role involves a 5-day work week and requires significant overseas travel to regions such as the United States and Europe. As a permanent member of the team, you will contribute to the manufacture and repair of semiconductor assembly and testing equipment, ensuring high standards of operational efficiency and equipment reliability. The compensation package includes a salary of up to $4500, along with AWS, transport, and phone allowances upon confirmation. Annual leave starts at 14 days and increases yearly. This is a permanent opportunity within the manufacturing and repair sector for semiconductor assembly equipment. Your main responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance, installations, commissioning, and machine retrofitting. You will be tasked with dismantling, adjusting, and repairing equipment based on detailed layout plans and operating manuals. Additionally, the role requires conducting tool qualifications and troubleshooting to prepare equipment for process acceptance. Successful candidates will manage system and chamber conversions while providing mandatory overseas support.
Key Requirements
Degree, diploma or technical Certificate in any engineering or related field.
Innovative, result-oriented, and self-motivated work ethic.
Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Semiconductor Engineering field.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Ability and willingness to travel overseas to the US and Europe as required.
Proficiency in dismantling, adjusting, and repairing technical equipment.
Experience in equipment installation, commissioning, and system conversions.
Skilled in performing tool qualifications and technical troubleshooting on a routine basis.
