The HR Assistant Manager (Construction) position involves supporting a wide range of human resources functions within the Civil Engineering and Construction industry. Primary responsibilities include managing recruitment cycles, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating onboarding. The role also requires close collaboration with management for manpower planning and the administration of performance management processes, including appraisals and talent data tracking to ensure organizational goals are met. Salary for this position is up to $5000 per month plus a performance bonus, depending on the candidate's professional experience and qualifications.

Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee training and development programs, maintain accurate records in the HRMS, and manage employee engagement initiatives. This role requires ensuring full compliance with Singapore's statutory regulations, including CPF, IRAS, and MOM processes, as well as the Fair Consideration Framework. The position is based in Tuas South Street with working hours from 9:00 am to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday. It is a permanent role offering the opportunity to implement and improve HR processes within a dynamic construction and engineering environment.

Key Requirements

Degree in HRM, Business, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Minimum 6 years of HR experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or EPC industries. Strong hands-on experience in building and implementing HR processes. Proven expertise in recruitment, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination. In-depth knowledge of Singapore labour laws, CPF, and MOM processes. Familiarity with the Fair Consideration Framework (FCF). Experience with work pass management and IRAS statutory compliance. Proficiency in maintaining HRMS and preparing HR metrics/reports. Ability to coordinate training programs and maintain development records. Excellent communication skills for employee engagement and internal relations.
