QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER @ SARA LIFESTYLE LTD.
SaRa Lifestyle Ltd., a rapidly expanding retail fashion brand in Bangladesh, is seeking a diligent Quality Control Officer for their Mirpur DOHS location in Dhaka. The successful candidate will play a vital role in upholding the company's reputation for high-quality garments by conducting rigorous inspections across all production phases, from the initial raw material stage through to the final finished product. This role is essential for identifying non-conformance early and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented swiftly to maintain production flow and standard compliance. The position is based in Dhaka and requires a full-time commitment to excellence in garment manufacturing standards. The responsibilities of this role involve detailed garment inspection including fabric quality checks, color fastness evaluation, print accuracy, and detection of sewing defects or garment measurement deviations. You will also be tasked with monitoring the cutting, washing, and finishing processes while maintaining comprehensive daily reports and quality logs. Key Requirements
Minimum HSC pass from any background.
2-3 years of experience in quality control within the garments or textile industry.
Prior experience working with retail brands, buying houses, or export-oriented factories.
Proven ability to perform inline, pre-final, and final inspections of garments.
Strong knowledge of fabric quality, color fastness, and print accuracy standards.
Ability to identify sewing defects and trim/accessory discrepancies accurately.
Proficiency in garment measurement checks and adherence to technical specifications.
Capability to maintain detailed daily inspection reports and quality checklists.
Effective coordination skills to work with production, merchandising, and technical teams.
Understanding of Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) and internal audit procedures.
