SENIOR ETL AND BI REPORTING ANALYST @ SAFALTA SERVICES
The Senior ETL and BI Reporting Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources for a reputable US-based company. This onsite position requires a technical expert who can ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems while optimizing processes for scalability and performance. You will be tasked with developing data warehouse schemas, working with large datasets in cloud-based platforms, and implementing data governance best practices to ensure a robust data infrastructure.
In addition to technical execution, the role involves significant stakeholder collaboration and leadership. You will work closely with business teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations and KPIs using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior analysts, conduct code reviews, and lead small to mid-sized data projects. This role is exclusively open to Nepali candidates and requires strong communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ETL development and BI reporting.
Strong SQL skills with experience across relational databases and modern cloud data warehouses.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, dbt, Talend, or SSIS.
Proven expertise with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and advanced modeling techniques.
Experience building data solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hands-on experience with distributed processing frameworks like Spark.
Strong scripting skills in Python for ETL/ELT processes and automation tasks.
Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data pipelines.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and visualizations.
Experience mentoring junior staff and leading data-driven projects.
