MID-SENIOR QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER @ SAFALTA SERVICES
We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Senior QA Automation Engineer for a reputable US-based company operating remotely. This role is specifically tailored for Nepali candidates who possess significant experience working within Fintech companies or financial systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality performance of complex financial workflows, including user onboarding, KYC processes, and various payment or bank integrations. You will work as a critical part of the development lifecycle, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to provide feedback on testability and manage release cycles.
The core focus of this position includes validating end-to-end transaction flows and maintaining data integrity across financial records. You will be expected to conduct deep-dive API testing, database validation using MySQL or PostgreSQL, and manage defects using tools like Jira. The role requires a high degree of ownership and the ability to work independently in a remote setup. Key Requirements
3–5 years of professional experience in QA for web applications.
Proven experience working on fintech or complex financial systems.
Strong understanding of SDLC and software quality assurance methodologies.
Proficiency in API testing, specifically using REST protocols.
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL for data validation.
Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira.
Ability to write clear, structured test cases and detailed defect reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying edge cases.
Experience in performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
Capability to work independently in a remote environment with clear communication.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum environments.
Understanding of security and compliance considerations in the fintech sector.
