We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee digital health programs for a client in the public sector. The role involves managing complex health information systems, including EMRs, eReferral solutions, and patient portals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end program strategy, from initiation through to close-out, ensuring all deliverables meet high-quality standards and align with organizational goals. This position is remote-friendly but centered around the Toronto, Ontario region. The ideal candidate must possess 7 to 10 years of experience within the healthcare sector and demonstrate a strong understanding of project management principles such as scope, risk, and change management. Exceptional communication skills are required for interacting with executive leaders and C-suite stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves managing budgets across multiple funding streams and ensuring strict adherence to privacy and security requirements for healthcare software development. Pay range is $100 - $110/hr CAD.
Key Requirements
7 to 10 years of experience managing digital health programs/projects, including health information systems, EMRs, eReferral solutions, and patient portals
Strong understanding of project management principles: scope, risk, planning, quality, change management, and stakeholder roles
Proven leadership and communication skills, with experience presenting to C-suite and executive health sector leaders
Expertise in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, resource planning, and conflict resolution
Ability to manage tight timelines and multiple priorities effectively
Experience leading program strategy from initiation to close-out
Strong ability to build executive-level relationships and translate expectations into actionable deliverables
Experience managing budgets across multiple funding streams and cross-organizational dependencies
Knowledge of privacy and security requirements in healthcare software development and integrations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Agile methodologies for tracking digital health milestones
