SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER (TERRAFORM EXPERT) @ RULESIQ
This is an urgent and long-term contract opportunity for a highly seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer, specializing as a Terraform Expert, to work in a fully remote capacity. Eligibility is strictly limited to US Citizens, and candidates are expected to possess an architect-level experience spanning over 10 years in the field. The successful candidate will be instrumental in architecting and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure. The position is a C2C contract starting early to mid-March.
The primary focus of this role involves leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to design and manage large-scale AWS environments. Specific duties include building and maintaining advanced EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters integrated with Istio service mesh. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for defining and leading CI/CD automation pipelines, establishing cloud best practices across the organization, and ensuring the paramount security, performance, and reliability of the infrastructure. The position requires strong foundational knowledge in AWS security, networking, and experience operating within an Agile environment.

Key Requirements
Must be a US Citizen and eligible for C2C contract work.
10+ years overall experience (senior/architect level) in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
Deep expertise in Terraform, specifically including experience with TypeScript integration.
Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services (EKS, EC2, ECR, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFront).
Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh implementation.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
Expertise with containerization technologies including Docker, Microservices architecture, and Helm Charts.
Experience in monitoring and observability using tools like CloudWatch, FluentBit, and Dynatrace.
Strong AWS security and networking fundamentals.
Ability to design and manage complex AWS infrastructure using IaC principles.
