MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL SENIOR QS ENGINEER @ RME-G
We are looking for a Mechanical/Electrical Senior QS Engineer to manage quantity surveying and cost control activities at our Head Office. This role is critical for the financial management of our engineering projects, involving the preparation of interim payments, final accounts, and the management of variation orders. You will be expected to ensure that projects remain within budget while adhering to all contractual obligations and quality standards.
In addition to financial oversight, you will collaborate with project managers to provide cost-benefit analyses and reporting on project profitability. Your experience will be vital in navigating complex contract clauses and resolving disputes with clients or subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a similar capacity within the construction or engineering sector and possess a strong commercial mindset.

Key Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Solid understanding of contract conditions and local construction laws
Experience in managing variation orders and claims
Proficiency in preparing final accounts and progress payments
Advanced skills in AutoCAD and MS Office
Ability to conduct detailed material take-offs from drawings
Strong interpersonal skills for client and subcontractor coordination
High level of integrity and attention to detail
Capable of working independently and meeting project deadlines
