MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL QS ENGINEER @ RME-G
The Mechanical/Electrical QS Engineer role at RME-G is designed for a professional with at least three years of experience who is ready to take on responsibilities in quantity surveying. You will support the Head Office team in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and monitoring project costs against budgets. Your role will include site measurements and regular reporting on material consumption and progress for various mechanical and electrical work packages.
You will also assist the senior team members in evaluating subcontractor invoices and verifying that the work completed aligns with the approved specifications. Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Skilled in preparing and analyzing Bills of Quantities
Experience in site measurement and material take-offs
Familiarity with standard quantity surveying software
Good understanding of engineering drawings and diagrams
Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records
Effective communication skills in a professional environment
Willingness to travel to project sites when necessary
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
