SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST WITH FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE @ RG TALENT INC
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing organizational business domains and documenting complex processes and systems. This role involves assessing business models and their integration with technology, providing distinct deliverables that lead to effective solutions. The candidate will work independently, providing guidance to others while managing long-term contract projects within a federal government context. This is an onsite position located in Albany, and the successful candidate must be able to adapt to a professional environment involving federal government standards.
As a senior professional, you will lead the elicitation and analysis of stakeholder needs, converting them into validated functional and non-functional requirements. You will be expected to create and maintain high-quality software development artifacts, including business cases, use cases, and flow diagrams. Additionally, the role requires managing the requirements lifecycle, facilitating workshops such as JAD sessions, and overseeing User Acceptance Testing to ensure project success. Professional certification and a solid educational background in a relevant field are essential for this role.

Key Requirements
Minimum 84 months experience eliciting and analyzing stakeholder business needs using various analysis techniques.
At least 84 months experience converting business needs into verified and validated functional and non-functional requirements.
84 months experience creating and maintaining software development artifacts such as BRDs, use cases, and flow diagrams.
84 months experience with context diagrams, textual use cases, swim lane diagrams, and report specifications.
Proven track record of 84 months facilitating requirement workshops including JAD sessions and structured walkthroughs.
Minimum 72 months experience managing requirements throughout the lifecycle including traceability and change control.
At least 60 months experience creating test plans and test cases and working on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Must possess a CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification from the IIBA.
Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience working within a federal government environment on long-term projects.
