We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Project Manager specializing in large-scale Solar Projects, including Ground Mounted, Hybrid, and Substation projects. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for the complete project lifecycle management, encompassing detailed planning, efficient execution, rigorous budgeting, comprehensive quality control, and ensuring the timely delivery of complex renewable energy infrastructure. This demanding role requires a proven track record in handling sophisticated electrical engineering challenges within the solar energy sector.
Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end execution of ground-mounted solar PV initiatives and skillfully managing hybrid solar projects, specifically those integrating battery storage and DG systems. Furthermore, the role demands oversight of all aspects of substation work, including erection, meticulous testing, final commissioning, and critical grid connectivity procedures. The manager will be tasked with developing precise project plans, optimizing resource allocation, implementing cost control strategies, and consistently ensuring strict compliance with all safety standards, quality policies, and regulatory requirements specific to the Zanzibar location. Regular communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams is essential, alongside proactive risk identification and mitigation.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (BE) in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience managing large-scale solar energy projects.
Proven ability to lead end-to-end execution of ground-mounted solar PV projects.
Expertise in managing hybrid solar projects, including battery storage and DG system integration.
Experience overseeing substation erection, testing, commissioning, and ensuring grid connectivity.
Skilled in developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource allocation models, and strict cost control strategies.
Demonstrated ability to monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within defined scope and budget.
Excellent coordination and communication skills with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Strong understanding of and commitment to safety standards, quality policies, and regulatory compliance.
Proficient in reviewing engineering designs, technical documentation, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project contracts.
Ability to identify potential project risks and proactively implement effective mitigation strategies.
