A reputable ship repair company based in Dubai is currently seeking an experienced Motor Rewinder to join their technical team. This role is central to the maintenance and refurbishment of critical maritime machinery, specifically focusing on the rewind and repair of various motor types. The ideal candidate will have significant experience within the marine or heavy industrial sectors, demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency and dedication to quality service in the maritime engineering field. Working within the dynamic environment of the United Arab Emirates, the Motor Rewinder will ensure that all equipment meets the rigorous safety and performance standards required for ship repair operations.
Key responsibilities include working with AC/DC motor windings and performing complex generator rewinding tasks. Candidates must be skilled in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and proficiently using diagnostic tools such as Meggers and Multimeters to ensure all repairs meet industry standards. Key Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years experience in motor rewinding (marine/heavy industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of AC/DC motor winding
Experience in generator rewinding
Ability to read electrical drawings
Knowledge of testing equipment (Megger, Multimeter, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical malfunctions
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols
Physical stamina to work in shipyard and industrial settings
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
High school diploma or vocational certification in electrical engineering
