COST CONTROL TEAM LEADER (CIVIL/ARCH) @ REDCON CONSTRUCTION
REDCON Construction is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Cost Control Team Leader with a background in Civil or Architectural engineering to join our operations at the North Coast. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the cost control department, overseeing budgeting processes, and ensuring that all project expenditures align with the approved financial plans. This leadership role is vital for maintaining the financial health of our large-scale construction projects in the region.
In this position, you will be expected to manage a team of cost controllers, providing guidance on variance analysis, cost forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to identify potential financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. The role demands a high level of technical expertise in both civil and architectural cost components, ensuring comprehensive coverage of project costs from inception to completion at our North Coast site.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience in cost control within the construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven track record of leading and managing a team of engineers or cost specialists.
Expertise in developing and monitoring project budgets and cash flow forecasts.
Strong proficiency in cost control software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, and architectural specifications.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed variance and trend analysis.
Experience in preparing comprehensive financial reports for senior management.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and procurement workflows.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with contractors and stakeholders.
