ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER @ RECRUITMENT MATTERS AFRICA
The Assistant Finance Manager will join a leading shipping and logistics operation in Tanzania. Key Requirements
Qualified CA, ACCA, or MBA in Finance.
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Previous experience within the shipping or logistics industry.
Tanzanian Nationality is a requirement for this position.
Proficiency in managing full-cycle accounting and ensuring GL accuracy.
Expertise in management reporting and operational analysis.
Strong knowledge of TRA statutory filings including VAT, WHT, and Corporate Tax.
Experience in internal and external audit coordination.
Ability to oversee AP/AR and optimize working capital in high-volume environments.
Advanced strategic thinking skills to bridge maritime operations and finance.
Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
High attention to detail and precision in financial data management.
