PLANT HEAD @ RAZOR SHARP HR & CONSULTING
This role is for a senior professional to take on the responsibility of Plant Head within a leading manufacturing group specializing in the Flexible Packaging Industry in Tanzania, Africa. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing complete factory operations, requiring significant experience (12+ years) in the flexible packaging sector. The position demands a proven track record of heading a manufacturing plant and ensuring optimal performance across all operational segments. Key responsibilities span comprehensive plant management, encompassing critical areas such as Production oversight, Quality assurance, Maintenance management, Procurement strategies, Human Resources administration, and foundational Finance management.
Candidates must possess an Engineering Degree and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities combined with technical expertise. A strong preference is given to professionals with robust exposure to recognized operational excellence methodologies, including 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma standards. The compensation package includes a net salary of USD 4,000 – 5,000 per month, fully furnished accommodation, a company vehicle with a driver and fuel, comprehensive medical coverage, visa/ticket assistance, and 30 days of paid annual leave.

Key Requirements
12+ years of experience in the Flexible Packaging industry.
Must be currently heading a plant and managing complete factory operations.
Possession of an Engineering Degree.
Strong exposure to 5S methodologies.
Experience implementing and managing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Knowledge and application of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
Proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles.
Experience with Six Sigma standards.
Proven ability in end-to-end management of all plant functions (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, HR, Finance).
Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills for factory optimization.
