SENIOR OFFICER – GENERAL PURCHASE @ RAJBY INDUSTRIES
The Senior Officer for General Purchase will be responsible for executing procurement activities across the organization, ensuring the timely acquisition of operational, technical, and factory-related items. The role involves a heavy focus on sourcing high-quality vendors and evaluating them based on rigorous standards of price, quality, and delivery reliability. By preparing comparative statements and managing purchase orders, the officer will ensure that all procurement actions are transparent, cost-effective, and fully compliant with established company policies and procedures.
Furthermore, the incumbent will act as a key liaison between the Stores, Finance, and user departments to ensure that material requirements are accurately identified and fulfilled without delay. This includes monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, as well as coordinating with the Finance team to verify invoices and facilitate timely vendor payments. The position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of maintaining an accurate supplier database and driving continuous improvement in procurement efficiency.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
At least 2 to 4 years of proven experience in general or technical purchasing.
Strong proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems for procurement modules.
Demonstrated ability to source and evaluate vendors for quality and price.
Expertise in preparing detailed comparative statements (CS) for decision making.
Strong negotiation skills to achieve cost savings and favorable payment terms.
In-depth knowledge of purchasing procedures and supply chain best practices.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal departments like Stores and Finance.
Ability to manage and maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
Analytical skills to monitor stock levels and optimize inventory turnover.
Experience in managing vendor payments and invoice verification processes.
Capacity to handle high-pressure procurement cycles for factory operations.
