SENIOR AWS DATA ENGINEER @ R4 SOFTTECH
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior AWS Data Engineer for a long-term contract position located onsite in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will be a technical expert in AWS ETL methodologies, responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable data pipelines. You will leverage advanced SQL techniques such as Common Table Expressions (CTEs) and window functions, alongside Python User Defined Functions (UDFs), to transform and prepare data for ingestion into complex cloud architectures. This role requires deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem, specifically focusing on loading large-scale datasets into Redshift using tools like AWS Glue, Airflow, S3, IAM, and the innovative AWS Bedrock platform.

Key Requirements
Extensive experience as a Senior Data Engineer specializing in AWS ETL processes.
Proven ability to design and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, particularly with CTEs and window functions.
Hands-on experience developing and deploying Python User Defined Functions (UDFs).
In-depth knowledge of loading and managing large-scale data within Amazon Redshift.
Expertise in orchestrating workflows using AWS Glue and Apache Airflow.
Strong technical understanding of AWS S3, IAM roles, and security configurations.
Experience with AWS Bedrock for advanced data and AI implementations.
Ability to work strictly within an AWS-only environment without external cloud stacks.
Excellent communication skills for a face-to-face interview and onsite collaboration.
