Quality Consulting Group, LLC is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Maintenance Technician (Job Tag JT999) to provide essential support for complex biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This temporary, full-time role operates on a standard Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and is crucial for ensuring the smooth and compliant functioning of critical equipment within a regulated environment. The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician involve comprehensive mechanical maintenance, including the repair and overhaul of specialized components like pumps, valves, motors, and mechanical seals. The role also requires expertise in HVAC troubleshooting and executing piping modifications. A significant part of the job focuses on regulatory adherence, requiring the execution of CMMS work orders, detailed equipment inspections, testing, and documentation, and strict adherence to GMP and SOP compliance and safety standards. Successful candidates will also be expected to actively identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and enhanced system reliability.
Key Requirements
Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of pumps, valves, motors, and mechanical seals.
Ability to perform HVAC troubleshooting and piping modifications.
Execute equipment inspections, testing, and detailed documentation.
Execute CMMS work order processing and reporting accurately.
Support and ensure strict GMP/SOP compliance and adherence to safety standards.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and enhanced reliability.
Possess an Associate Degree combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated experience working in cGMP or other highly regulated environments.
Solid knowledge of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Strong fundamental background in mechanical maintenance and repair procedures.
