NPU PERFORMANCE VERIFICATION AND POWER MODELING LEAD @ QUALCOMM
Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join the NPU team, focusing on performance verification and power modeling. This role is pivotal for the development of complex, proprietary DSP IP that forms the core of Qualcomm's multi-tier SoC roadmap. The successful candidate will bring between 12 and 18 years of industry experience to the DSP design team, ensuring the delivery of high-performance cores optimized for the mobile space. Responsibilities include conducting detailed power analysis and estimation to ensure energy efficiency and peak performance. You will be part of a team responsible for the entire lifecycle of DSP core development, from initial modeling to final SoC integration. Key Requirements
12-18 years of experience in performance verification of complex digital systems.
Expertise in power modeling, estimation, and power analysis methodologies.
Strong background in Qualcomm proprietary DSP IP or similar high-performance architectures.
Proven track record of delivering high-performance DSP cores for SoC integration.
Experience with multi-tier SoC roadmaps targeted at the mobile industry.
Proficiency in hardware description languages like SystemVerilog.
Familiarity with architectural simulators and performance modeling tools.
Knowledge of low-power design techniques and power-gating strategies.
Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers within the DSP design team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging complex IP issues.
