AWS CDK DEVOPS ENGINEER @ Q1 TECHNOLOGIES
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS CDK DevOps Engineer to join our team in Toronto, Canada, on a full-time permanent basis. This hybrid role requires an individual with over 8 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, specifically focusing on the AWS ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and managing advanced serverless applications while ensuring robust infrastructure management through AWS CDK and CloudFormation. You will play a critical role in optimizing our cloud architecture and integrating services using Python and Node.js to drive innovation and efficiency within our technological framework. Key Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in DevOps and cloud engineering roles.
Comprehensive understanding of AWS cloud architecture and advanced cloud services.
Strong hands-on experience in building and managing scalable serverless applications.
Proficiency in core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, ECS, ECR, and IAM.
Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python and Node.js for automation.
Experience working with AWS SDKs to integrate various services into the application lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts including VPC, subnets, and security groups.
Solid understanding of AWS security best practices and organizational compliance standards.
Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
