The publicly listed cross-border fintech group (currently kept confidential) is seeking a visionary Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its global financial operations. This role carries a global mandate and is fundamental to the company's sustained expansion. The ideal candidate must have mandatory experience within the Digital Assets, Blockchain, or Web3 industries, positioning them to guide the organization's financial strategy in the evolving tech finance landscape. The work location is flexible between New York and California, United States.
Key responsibilities are centered on developing and executing the global financial strategy. This involves driving crucial financing initiatives, including optimizing the capital structure through various means like equity, debt, and strategic financing. The Group CFO will also have comprehensive oversight of M&A activities, including performing thorough financial due diligence, structuring transactions, and managing post-merger integration efforts. Maintaining robust global financial governance is paramount, encompassing tax planning, compliance, and streamlining financial systems.
This core executive role requires fluency in both Mandarin and English. Key Requirements
10+ years of finance leadership experience, including 3+ years at group executive level.
Mandatory experience in digital assets / crypto finance / Web3 industry background.
Proven track record in driving financing initiatives and optimizing capital structure (equity, debt, strategic financing).
Strong knowledge of U.S. capital markets and regulatory framework (e.g., SEC compliance).
Fluency in Mandarin & English (Bilingual proficiency required).
Expertise in overseeing M&A financial due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration.
Ability to strengthen global financial governance, tax planning, and compliance across jurisdictions.
