QUALITY ENGINEER – FUNCTIONAL (UAT TEST LEAD) @ PRIMESOURCE LLP
Primesource LLP is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (Functional) to serve as a UAT Test Lead for a critical project in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Pilot, and Site Validation execution, ensuring that all entry criteria and test readiness standards are met across the project scope. This role involves driving daily test execution plans, managing defect logging, tracking, and severity classification, and facilitating coordination for re-testing and defect closures across various teams.
Beyond technical execution, the UAT Test Lead will be responsible for high-level stakeholder communication, providing detailed testing status reports, and handling release communications to secure UAT sign-off. The engagement includes participating in mobilization meetings, daily defect calls, and weekly stakeholder engagements to ensure high-quality business testing throughout the project lifecycle. Key Requirements
7+ Years of professional experience in Quality Engineering or Functional Testing.
Proven track record in UAT/Test Lead roles specifically for complex projects.
Expertise in defect management, including logging, tracking, and severity classification.
Strong experience in coordinating end-to-end business testing cycles.
Ability to lead Pilot and Site Validation execution phases effectively.
Excellent stakeholder communication and regular reporting skills.
Experience ensuring UAT entry criteria and test readiness are strictly followed.
Ability to drive day-to-day test execution plans and handle project escalations.
Proficiency in coordinating re-testing and defect closures with technical teams.
Knowledge of release communications and the process for obtaining UAT sign-offs.
