SOLAR INSTALLERS (ENTRY LEVEL - FOREMAN) @ PFISTER ENERGY
Pfister Energy is actively seeking dedicated Solar Installers at all levels, from Entry Level staff eager to learn, up to experienced Foremen ready to lead teams. These positions are critical to the physical installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems across Maryland and adjacent areas. Entry-level candidates will receive necessary training to assist in setting up arrays, mounting equipment, and supporting logistical needs on the rooftop or ground-mount sites. Experienced installers will be expected to execute complex installations efficiently and adhere strictly to design specifications and safety requirements.
Foreman candidates will take on supervisory responsibilities, including managing crew safety, coordinating daily workflow, conducting pre-job briefings, and ensuring the quality and pace of installation meets project milestones. This role is highly demanding physically, requiring comfort working at heights and in various outdoor weather conditions while maintaining a focus on high-quality workmanship.

Key Requirements
Experience ranging from entry-level construction labor to supervisory roles (Foreman) in solar installation.
Ability to safely and comfortably work on rooftops and at significant heights.
Physical stamina required for manual labor, lifting heavy equipment (50+ lbs), and prolonged standing.
Knowledge of standard photovoltaic (PV) system components, mounting hardware, and assembly processes.
Strong commitment to strictly following all company and OSHA safety guidelines and procedures.
Basic understanding of electrical components, wiring, and system connections (required for higher levels).
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively as part of a construction team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites across Maryland and surrounding regions.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt quickly in a demanding construction environment.
Prior experience operating standard construction tools and equipment.
